Zach Taylor

Zach Taylor joined the firm of Donoho, Taylor & Taylor as an associate in 2013. He was born and continues to reside in Hartsville, Tennessee. Zach’s father and aunt are founding members of the firm, so he has a lifetime of law behind him already. Growing up along with the firm, Zach has an invaluable and innate understanding of the law, the area he practices in and the importance of family.

Zach graduated from Trousdale County High School in 2005. He then attended Middle Tennessee State University where he graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. After graduating from MTSU Zach attended Nashville School of Law where he graduated in 2013. While attending law school, Zach worked full time as a Law Clerk for Donoho, Taylor & Taylor.

Zach credits Eddie (father) and Betty Lou (aunt) for his love of law. Zach has quickly grown as a lawyer and has gained a reputation for aggressive defense of his clients.

Eddie began the practice of law in 1976 with Mr. James Donoho in Hartsville, Tennessee. He is a founding member of Donoho, Taylor & Taylor with over 40 years of experience. Eddie currently resides in Hartsville and serves as a member of the board of directors for Citizens Bank of Hartsville. Building the firm in a rural area, Eddie has an immense respect for the area, the people and the law.

Eddie graduated high school from Trousdale County High School and later attended Middle Tennessee State University. Eddie also served in the United States Air force before attending Law School.

Eddie has built a solid reputation as a Criminal Defense, Personal Injury and Family Law attorney. His primary focus is on Criminal Defense and it is an area of law that he truly believes in and loves. He has tried over 175 jury trials in his career.



Betty Lou Taylor

Betty Lou is a founding member of Donoho, Taylor & Taylor, having worked as a secretary and then a law clerk for Mr. James Donoho, and becoming a partner in 1992. Betty Lou resides in Hartsville and is the County Attorney for Trousdale County. She is also the Juvenile Court Judge.

Betty Lou’s main practice areas are Real-Estate, Wills and Estates, Municipal law, and Health Care Law. She has had an extensive practice in representing nursing home companies. Ms. Taylor has also been very successful in Real Estate condemnation cases and has secured large judgments for her clients.

Betty Lou would credit her mother, Ms. Ruby Taylor and Mr. James Donoho with her love for her chosen career. Her mother was an educator and taught Betty Lou the value of education and our youth. This has served her well in her experience as a Juvenile Court Judge. Mr. Donoho held very high standards for punctuality, respect for elder care, and community involvement. Betty Lou has dedicated her career to living up to those standards.
